Executive Director
David Edward Post M.D. is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana. Dr. Post is a graduate of Tulane College of Arts & Science and Tulane Medical School. He did his internship at Duke Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina. He did his General Psychiatry residency in New Orleans within the LSU / Charity Hospital System. Dr Post completed a forensic psychiatry fellowship at Harvard with rotations at Boston Juvenile Court Clinic and Harvard Law and Divinity Schools. Currently, Dr Post works primarily in Louisiana's public hospital system and clinics with adult and adolescent clients. He also has a limited private practice in Baton Rouge and New Orleans, La. He is recently married and lives in both Baton Rouge and New Orleans, La. He and his sister (Louise) founded The Post Foundation in memory of their father, Lewis I Post MD of New Orleans.
